Nokia has unveiled the latest iteration of its classy 8800 mobile phone dubbed as the Carbon Arte. It mixes carbon fiber, titanium and stainless steel to come up with a truly elegant yet very durable design that cannot be mistaken for anything else but a Nokia 8800 slider.
Apart from its breath-taking aesthetics, it is also a 3G phone that comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera, 4GB of internal memory, an OLED display, and an anti-fingerprint coating that will guarantee a pristine smudge-free phone at all times. It’ll also come preloaded with soundtracks and wallpaper exclusively made for this luxurious line of mobile phones.
The fine print to this new phone is that the SRP is a whopping €1,100 which is roughly US/CAD $1600 (before taxes and carrier subsidies), and it’s expected to be released during the 3rd quarter of this year in Europe only.
We might have lucked out on this beauty for now; but hopefully, when it does reach our part of the world, the price won’t be as steep as it is now. Want more pictures to drool over? Check out Engadget’s photo gallery for more mouth-watering images.
