HTC is in the midst of a global rollout of the long awaited Touch Diamond and it’s crazy, full-Qwerty cousin, the Touch Pro.
The HTC Touch Pro is now on sale in the UK without contract via Devicewire.co.uk and Mobiles.co.uk, and Vodafone hopes to offer it on contract in the UK later this month.
Telus of Canada has announced a summer release for the Touch Diamond, while many are still awaiting word from Sprint and Verizon.
Verizon’s version of the Touch Pro is called Raphael, while Sprint calls the model Victor. Each carrier will have slightly different specifications for the phones.
Come on guys! This is one of the most anticipated phones of the year. Enough with the secret code names, lets get these hot phones in your customer’s hands!

Telus will be launching the HTC Touch Diamond on Thursday, August 14, but don’t fall for their price, or 3-year contract.
A new service will be available to Canadians in about a week or two. They will allow Canadians to purchase Verizon Wireless phones and plans at the US prices with only a 2-year contract. There will be a nominal processing fee for this service.
Verizon Wireless is offering a “NationWide Plus Canada” plan that includes: no roaming charges, and no long distance charges.
While not confirmed, it is rumoured that Verizon Wireless will be getting the HTC Touch phones between September and December of this year as the FTC has approved the CDMA version of this phone.
