Blackberry is taking a completely different approach to the release of the Bold than did Apple when it released the iPhone.
Instead of a whirlwind one-day release, RIM is instead staggering the Bold’s release dates, which if nothing else keep it in the news, and possibly helps prevent inventory problems.
Rogers business customers have been able to order the new device since July 29. Vodafone UK August 1st, T-Mobile Germany August 4th and all other Rogers customers will be able to get the device today.
Next on the list will be AT&T, O2 UK and Telstra of Australia in September.
