The Chocolate 3 flip phone will arrive very soon at Verizon. Pricing is competitive: $199 with a one-year contract or $129 with a two-year contract. Not a bad deal at all, in case you cannot be tempted by a 2-year hiatus with the iPhone.
LG has not announced the Chocolate 3 for Asian markets, so it’s safe to say the clamshell form factor is directed at the U.S. public, who 1) really like the “snap” sound when they fold their cellphone and 2) want a more serious-looking handset. The Chocolate 3 is all of that.
