Bluetooth Car Kit Introduced

Motorola Monday introduced a Bluetooth-based hands-free kit for in-car wireless phone users.The kit uses voice recognition to enable hand-free use of mobile phones, according to the company. Motorola claims the kit is compatible with any handset that is Bluetooth 1.1 compatible.

According to the company, if users are speaking on the phone when they enter the car, it automatically can transition to the hands-free car system when the car starts. The kit can dial 100 voice-activated phone numbers and users can use their voices for tasks such as initiating calls.
