We have our doubts about the diminutive Palm Centro but the little guy proved us wrong. After selling hot and reaching the one million mark, the Palm Centro helped its manufacturer climb from a 7.9% to 13.4%. It’s definitely not the OS. Although may be planning more Windows Mobile phones in the future, the success of Centro makes a very crucial point. Even in smartphones, form factor may be a bigger consideration for consumers than the operating system.

I love my Centro. Lots of FREE downloadable software…good battery life on ATT, no data contract required, the price was right (free upgrade). Six months and I’m not bored with it yet.
