One possible iPhone killer is the Xenium X800 fro Philips. It’s a touch screen phone that boasts edge-to-edge display, or e2e. As the name implies, the screen takes up the entire front of the cellphone… from one edge of the casing to the other. From the FCC photo above, e2e does not seem all that different from regular touchscreen phone with prominent displays. The iPhone, for instance, seems to have similar screen to casing ratio as the X800. Although, there seems to be some sort of transparent protector over the X800 face that indeed goes from edge to edge.
Details revealed at the FCC includes 2MP camera, Bluetooth, Fm radio and a 10-hour talk time.
