You’re right in that aspect. But then again, depends on what you use your phone for. I only use wifi for instance because a data plan is crazy. And for me, as long as the phone is quadband I’m happy. That’s because my old phones E70, K500i that were from Dubai were tri-band. My n82 gives me perfect reception.
I’m also quite bitter about the fact that Canada is really slow to get ahold of the better cellphones. Coming from Dubai, I’m used to seeing the best cellphones quite regularly.
Also, look at the contract plans and what not, I like my phone plain and simple…no strings attached. Rogers/Bell/Telus mark-up on phones is crazy, especially if theres no contract.
Maybe Canada is finally catching up, but it has taken way too long….

Javad, I’m thinking of getting an N82 myself, but unfortunately, the N82 can’t do HSDPA through Rogers and this will give the N95 a bigger advantage if Rogers unveils a cheaper 3G plan (perhaps when the iPhone comes around). The N82 works on the WCDMA 2100 band, whereas Rogers’ 3G uses the 850/1900 bands.

HA! Rogers are late! My n82 does the same thing an n95 can do, just doesn’t have the 8 GB of memory. What a waste…Rogers n95 8GB – 399 3 yrs/ my n82 460 no contract

Hi, no offense but the n95-4 was available in US since FEBRUARY via dell . I bought mine from montreal-gsm (montreal) a month ago, im very happy my phone is ROGERS FREE ,cant imagine this phone with rogers stuff on it.
So us had it before folks , then canada.
