I don’t know if people are going to be seriously interested in a Levi Strauss branded handsets, but the denim company has just launched a 3G phone exclusive to Orange France.
The phone is a triband GSM with WCDMA connectivity. It has Bluetooth and a microSD slot. The thing is this. Levi’s clothing is known for its rugged appeal. Their first phone looks rugged, but we know it won’t survive a three-foot drop into hard concrete. This 3G phone doesn’t look too rugged at all and will not survive a three-foot drop 100% intact. So what gives? This phone 279 euros without a contract.
