There’s one interesting rumor going around and given credibility by the Times of UK.
Industry sources told Times Online that the device will have a “radically different” appearance to the current device, which has a 4.5 inch screen and slick, aluminium backing. Among the possibilities are flip version, which would enable the screen to be larger, and a sliding model with a regular qwerty keyboard – as opposed to a touchscreen one.
There may be multiple version so of iPhone, as another recent rumor pointed out and an iPhone with a slide-out QWERTY keypad may be one of those versions. Word is that Apple has ordered 200,000 new iPhones from its supplier by May’s end and 2 million should be ready by June. Now..if only Canada could get the original iPhone!
Update: No QWERTY phone announced yet. But a Rogers iPhone is officially coming!
