Widows CE Quadband Phone Watch Introduced

The EGP-WP98 is said to be the first quadband GSM phone watch in the world. It retails at a prohibitive price of $629.95 but still cheaper than SMS, which we haven’t really heard from after circulating for a prolonged time in the rumor mill. It runs on Windows CE and as a GSM phone, it will have a SIM slot somewhere in the watch body. It’s water-resistant and the 1.45-inch screen has a handwriting recognition, which is possible but we find hard to believe. Also onboard is WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth a 1.3 MP camera and a T Flash card slot. Well, if all these feature sets are true, the 600-dollar price tag does not seem like such a turn on, especially with a laser beam included for cutting stuff on the fly.
