More rumors on the iPhone. This one is very good news I’m sure for everyone. The 3G iPhone will launch on June 6 at the WWDC 2008 in San Francisco and it will be available in 32GB for $599. Isn’t that a bargain? The other versions are price thus: 8GB ($399), 16GB ($499). The new iPhone is also said to be 2.5mm thinner. The battery is still non-removable. The 8GB looks like a decent phone price, even with the contract. I wonder if we will get a better deal from Apple if we waited a few months after launching.
Update: As for June 9th, the 3G iPhone is a reality. Pricing is set at $199 for a 8GB model and $299 for a 16GB with contract. The 16GB model is available in black and white.

There will not be a 8gb 3g iPhone.
New iPhones will be 16gb (first) and 32gb (later)

Yeah i get to drop another $600 on a new iPhone having already bought the 4GB model when it first came out I was thrilled when i found out they stopped making my model and instead priced the 16G the same!!! WOW I JUST CANT WAIT!!!!!! @#@$$%^#@
doesn’t look like a fake now!! they just announced it!! $199 for an 8gb!! That’s awesome!! Over 70 countries will get it, it has 3G, GPS and comes in white!!
You guys need to do your research. Go to apple.com and you will see that that design is right, but they are selling an 8gb (199) and 16 (299).
Um just to let you know the NEW iPhone 3G is NOT fake is coming out on July 11! I’m waiting for that phone and i am sooooooooo younger than all of you guys! I am like 10 years younger, i get whatevers i want you know!

Hey, that was pretty close. I mean, that’s the actual iPhone that was released today, however the price points couldn’t be further from the truth. Oh well, I’m more happy the way it turned out today.

yep. the 32GB predictions were wrong and the pricing was even better than expected. but..seems the spy photo was pretty close and we got the 3G we’ve been after. now…if only you could dial up an apple and order an unlocked one. :-(

im definatly gonna get a white 16gb when it comes out. lolz im only 11 and this is gonna be my third iphone. i just need to get a new case bc its gonna be thinner ; )

I think its funny how everyone is trying to sell their iPhones on eBay for much more than the new ones will be. They say “great deal”……..
They shouldn’t be able to get much more than $200 for an 8 GB because the new one, which is faster, thinner, lighter… is only $199.

We get that its $199 and $299, so stop posting it up.

There is no such thing as a 32gb iPhone…not yet at least…
malachai. you’re right. that was just a rumor that was being heard before the new iphone 3g was released. you’ll notice that the date of this post was April 10, 2008. 32GB is probably inevitable…it just didn’t happen this time around.
Yesterday i went to apple store and they told me that to be able to buy iphone3g i hade to have a contract wiith at&t, but im NOT from United States.
