It’s Mr. Tech himself, Walt Mossberg, predicting the launching of 3G iPhone in 60 days time. Walt Mossberg, as one of the most powerful opinion makers in technology, can be trusted to have solid inside information on the Apple Phone. Besides, AT&T Mobility CEO Ralph de la Vega have hinted as much, saying at CTIA to his interviewer: “Let me repeat what I said: I think that you’re going to see our integrated devices be 3G devices in the not-too-distant future, and I mean months. That should be clear enough.”
For a mobile device that boasts one of the best screens for multimedia, 3G sure is a long time coming.
Update: Mr. Mossberg must have had the inside scoop. His 60 day prediction was almost bang on. An Apple iPhone 3G was officially released June 9th at the WWDC.
