The source of this rumor is a bit strange. Cnmo.com, a Chinese site, doesn’t exactly fit the bill as a reliable source for Apple news. To be fair, Cnmo isn’t exactly telling us that Microsoft IDS developing a version of MS Office for the iPhone’s touch screen GUI. There are two things the site points out that is very intriguing: Microsoft earns a lot of money from its Office software. That’s number one. Number two: Office will fit in very well in a touch screen environment. Well, if Microsoft does release an iPhone version of the MS Office, we’ll definitely be tempted.
