Remember the zzzPhone from China, which offers customizable features at the lowest price per feature? It sounds good on paper, but will the idea pan out? We’ll find out soon enough because Peter Ha of Crunch Gear has been privileged to check out zzzPhone business central.
There are a few more details we need to know about the phone. First, the zzzPhone will offer 8 basic motherboards depending on the customization needs. There’s a big question mark about the OS the company will be using. Symbian and Windows CE are the two main choices, though Google’s Android is another possibility. One curious thing Peter ha found out is that the zzzPhone will actually work for 20 minutes with the battery removed. The internal backup battery will give you just enough juice to put on a reserve battery when the first one runs out.
