The LG Prada, both an iPhone predecessor and first iPhone clone (don’t ask me) keeps on selling at its original price of $870. It has less features than iPhone, no multi-gesture capability on its touch screen and no WiFi, costs twice as much.
The price tag is for the unlocked LG Prada. O2 in fact sells the handset for $80 with a contract. Still, 800,000 units of a phone that resembles iPhone and has a lot less features is quite a feat. LG though may have another phone up its sleeve to compete with iPhone, and it’s not a new phone but an old one. The Chocolate is still selling after two years in the market and just last year.
