ZTE C88The ZTE C88 is the first Chinese-branded cellphone to be made available to the U.S. It's a RAZR-imitation but about three years behind in trendiness. It has an exterior screen like the RAZR. The display on the external screen though is very simple. It's not that it's monochrome but even the font itself looks to be outdated. The keys inside are huge, for people who prefer to text on full-sized keys. The directional pad, though is a little narrow on the sides. As gar as phone signal is a little troubling. ZTE operates on the MetroPCS network. The phone operates locally in a few cities and goes to roaming elsewhere. Sound signal seemed just awful, according the Phonescoop reviewer. The worst feature is the battery, which only lasts 3 days on minimal use and consistently displays a full charge until everything suddenly goes off.
