iPhone SDK Comes in June

iPhone SDKNow you can buy exciting new applications for the iPhone. Yes, buy. Steve Jobs announced iPhone SDK today with a target release date in June. With SDK, third-party developers (developers not within the Apple company) can make new apps for the iPhone. These apps will not be free unlike the apps iPhone jailbreakers has been meddling with. Apple already has companies on board with new apps during the announcement. SEGA and EA has game each using the iPhone’s built-in accelerometer.

All third-party applications that will be developed for the iPhone or iPod Touch will need Apple certification and will only be available through the new App Store.
