Asus will have us think that a cellphone can go as fast as a Lamborghini or at least look fast. Though we doubt that using the same race-car design on a PDA phone that worked considerably well on an Asus laptop will get first adopters lining up, it’s about a handset gets race car stripes. We were hoping Asus would do the ZX1 shiny like the laptop.
The photo above is a mockup by UV and doesn’t look too nice, to be honest. What we do know is that the ZX1 will be top of the line. It will run Windows Mobile 6 and will have 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity plus GPS and it’s a touch screen. This baby will be fast via a 520 MHz Qualcomm CPU. Oh, did I mention it will be a touch screen? Knowing what Asus is capable of in the smartphone category, we cannot wait.
