zzzPhone’s business model is simple. Sell cellphones like Dell sells computers and offer the best features at the lowest price. It is similar to Bug Labs but far cheaper and the features do not come in modules and are permanently built into the handset. Unlike Bug Labs, the zzzPhone actually looks like any other cellphone.
The base price is $149, which already gives you a touch screen and 3 MP camera. For GPS, you can add $119 and $36 for Skype. Wat a 7 MP camera? Why that’s only a $95 addition.
Seems like a wonderful idea until you see the real phone.
