Wood accents on a car is luxurious and a symbol of good taste. On a phone, it’s simply fantastic. Chute’s idea is to make cellphones more environment friendly. The wood used is actually bamboo, which when treated correctly should be able to weather any sort of punishment a cellphone normally undergoes. Bamboo is such an ideal material, we wonder why it’s not currently used in cellphones. Bamboo, unlike real trees, grows fast and plentiful in some regions. I fact, we like the idea of using bamboo as handset casing we are betting that Bamboo belong as much to the future of mobile technology as this other concept.
