RIM is on a path of innovation. If drawings recently unearthed is any clue, future BlackBerrys will no longer look like this. One of them is a phone with a screen that you can flip up like a laptop screen. One version comes with a half-QWERTY and the other with a full QWERTY. The half QWERTY has a scroll wheel similar to the Asian and European LG Shine.
RIM also has a multi-touch BlackBerry in the drawing board. The innovation lies in the fact that the screen also recognizes the amount of pressure applied to it. I am curious how this will work in the real world. Some people’s thumbs are just stronger than others.

Good for RIM. With how much of a bite out of their market iPhone is threatening to take if and when it gets north of the 49, it’s great to see them doing everything they can to solidify their place first!
I would love to see them come out with a world edition phone that has a camera.
