The same man who brought us the USB flash drive has made the smallest cellphone in the world. Dav Morn and his Israel-based company Modu will be releasing their eponymous handheld in October. The initial launching will only cover three countries – Israel, Russia, and Italy.
Modu is only 42 grams. It’s smaller than the Nano 3G and uses a tic-tac-toe keypad. This looks like revolution on the making but Modu has added jackets to the phone, which instantly turns it into a regular cell phone with a camera even. The jackets look good and can be updated to include more functionality. Price is $280.
