The Mobile World Congress (formerly 3GSM World Congress) in Barcelona may see the announcement of the second wave of iPhone releases in Europe. Three major European countries may finally see the iPhone attached to their respective winning networks.
Italy – Telecom Italy Mobile
Spain – Telefonica, the largest provider in the country and owner of O2
Switzerland – Swisscom Mobile
European countries have been waiting for their turn since the iPhone was released in the U.S. on June 29. The U.K., France and Germany were the first European countries to have the iPhone made available to them.
Update: Finally Canada has gotten into the iPhone mix. An iPhone for Rogers is coming soon.

In other news, Canada will become the 67th country in the world to get the iPhone, when it is released in 2011.
