iPhone in Europe

The Mobile World Congress (formerly 3GSM World Congress) in Barcelona may see the announcement of the second wave of iPhone releases in Europe. Three major European countries may finally see the iPhone attached to their respective winning networks.

Italy – Telecom Italy Mobile

Spain – Telefonica, the largest provider in the country and owner of O2

Switzerland – Swisscom Mobile

European countries have been waiting for their turn since the iPhone was released in the U.S. on June 29. The U.K., France and Germany were the first European countries to have the iPhone made available to them.
