Beginning March 30, 2008, old and new clients of AT&T will be paying higher for pay per use text messages and MMS. Customers who have bought text and multimedia messaging packages will be paying the same rates. The new rates for PPU users will be in effect on March 28 and messages sent on that day will have the following rates:
text: $.20 (from $.15)
MMS: $.30 (from $.25)
Don’t worry, AT&T is going to send invoices to its customers starting January 21 and will also receive notifications to the effect described above.
