We’ve told you about Motorola’s plans to partner with Microvision to put projectors in Motorola camera phones. That isn;t going to happen any time soon, but Microvision’s “Pico” ultraportable projector is ready and we’ll soon see how it works during the CES conference a few days from now.
The PicoP is capable of displaying a 12 inches to 100 inches image at 848 x 480 WVGA resolution. The plans to put the technology on cellphones is serious as it promises a bigger market where Microvision’s invention could prove to be very lucrative.
