The Nokia 8800 fashion phone, also known under many nicknames (Sirocco, Monaco), is getting 3G connectivity. Whether this will add dollars to the retail price we don’t know, nor do we care to find out.
The 8800 will remain as stylish only now it is equipped with high-speed 3G connectivity for faster downloading of content using a cellular network. The new Nokia 8800 Arte and 8800 Arte Sapphire have a lot of nifty features like aan appearing/disappearing analog clock when you tap below the screen. The screen itself has an anti-fingerprint coating, which makes it crystal clear even on heavy use. Arte retails for 1000 Euros and will be coming later this year. Arte Sapphire 1150 Euros and comes out Q1 2008.
