Time Magazine has named the Apple iPhone as the invention of 2007. Though the iPhone cannot do instant messaging and it is only available for U.S. residents thru AT&T, Time mentions the iPhone’s revolutionary features like the multi-touch user interface as something that will forever affect the industry.
Time is not above vanity and agrees with most people that the iPhone is the prettiest functional cell phones around. It’s not just a great multi-featured handset, it’s an Apple platform that launched Apple from being Apple Computers to Apple Inc. Most importantly, Apple is only going to get better in making iPhones.
Now that the idea that the iPhone is the king of phones has gone mainstream, we have to ask ourselves if this will go into Steve Jobs head and iPhone prices are going to rise instead of go down.
