
Rogers Wireless will be the first provider in Canada to offer MotoRAZR2, the second generation of the popular RAZR model. Rogers will be offering the RAZR2 V9, a folder phone that replaces the V3xx. It will operate on Rogers new HSPA network, which tops at a blazing 7.2 Mbps. Thru the network, users can enjoy video calling, a first in North America and other services like satellite radio, mobile TV and video streaming.
The V9 runs on an ARM 11 processors and offers an internal screen with twice the resolution of the first RAZR screen. Included is WMP 11 support and a 2 MP camera. The RAZR2 V9 is priced at $199.99 on a 3 year Rogers contract.
