Microsoft cuts prices of phones running Windows Mobile to better compete with the Apple iPhone. The Windows mobile phones will be sold for prices below $100, including the AT&T 3125, now priced at $49.99.
Windows Mobile is a smaller version of the Windows operating system in PCs and unlike iPhone accepts third-party software. Besides iPhone, Windows Mobile also competes with Palm and Symbian.
