Rogers Wireless has launched HSPA, a next-generation 3G service that will enable video calling in 22 markets in Canada. Called quite simply Vision, it will be the first wireless video calling service in the entire North America. Besides the Greater Toronto area video calling will now be available in these following markets: Greater Vancouver, Kelowna, Victoria, Whistler, Calgary, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina, Ottawa/Gatineau, Kingston, Sudbury, Barrie, London, Kitchener/Waterloo, Guelph, Windsor, Greater Montreal, Quebec City, Chicoutimi and Trois-Rivières.
The service will be available on these handset models: Samsung A706, the LG TU500 and the LG Shine Slider, and for business users Motorola Q9H, the Palm Treo 750, the HTC TyTN and the GT Max PC card.
