Greenpeace Attacks Apple iPhone

Greenpeace is angry because Steve Jobs didn’t keep his promise. Before he launched iPhone, Jobs vowed a greener Apple and an environment-friendly phone. What happened was the exact opposite. The iPhone, Greenpeace discovered, was full of harmfuls BFRs and PVCs and in fact has found “phthalate plasticisers,” which have the classification of ‘toxic to reproduction, category 2′ in Europe and has been banned from Children’s toy production. Yick! Meanwhile, Nokia phones are now completely PVC free and Motorola and Sony Ericsson have come out with BFR-free handsets.
