Hi Nobody seems to care about the 3 year contracts we feel obliged to sign and just months later better options are made available. There should be a rule where if better options are offered, irrespective of the fact that one has a fixed contact, the supposedly reliable customer is just not forgotten in the dishonest gamble.
I was so happy to return my iphone because Rogers asked me to pay 35 dollars for an upgrade, where I am due to get a replacement phone.Had I joined in as a new customer, NO Charge.
Try to call, it appears that this is company policy. Well have 12 more long month to wait, and hope by that time new players will enter the game and I will get the pleasure ogf chaning service provider.
It pains when you have 3 wireless with Rogers and pay over 150 a month and be treated like S...
Long live Rogers.

Rogers sucks, the service is o.k. around Winnipeg but if you go much out of the city the rate of dropped calls and failure to connect goes up exponentially. I have family in northern Mb. and some of them cant even phone me on my Rogers phone, or my wife's Rogers phone. When we go to visit our phones are totally useless, cant call in or out. Even at home constantly drops calls and mt brother cant even call me from where he lives. All he gets is call cannot be completed as dialed. He e mails me so I can phone him when he needs to get in touch with me. Even then at least 1/2 the time I cant get through or the call is dropped. Not to mention the horrible bills which are complicated and way more than we were led to believe they were. I am locked in a contract paying for horrible horrible service. Been on the phone with so called techs many times to no avail. Anyone know if i can get out of the contract due to crappy service? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am presently using Virgin Mobile (a la carte), and believe me, they are crooks. In 3 years time I had no less than 5 changes or increased of rates. I was with A.T&T before which became Roger. The same type of bastards... Now Quebec govt. is going to legislate on all those rip-off. Change of rates, penalties etc... Isn t time you get your respective Provincial Govt. to join in the revolt.

Next we have to hit the petroleum company before they choke us to death.

And by the way, I m in my late sixties, I have seen things,

AHAHAHA . Wow Daryl. Complaining at an article which is almost a year old and was speculating on something released six months ago, for being wrong?! At the time, Rogers was charging that amount for BlackBerrys and PDAs (and I believe still does?).

iPhone plan is better, but please look at article date before posting a flame comment. Otherwise ...

Obviously to the knowledge with the Rogers plans in Canada such as I am, You don't have the slightest clue as to what Rogers is chargin us users in Canada for the Use of the iPhone. You might wish to check your numbers again before you start to write them down and make sure that what you are writing is anywere in the real world of possability.

@Terri: What you're describing is called "Detailed Biling". It costs $x extra per month. If you have save the money and the tress by calling Rogers and asking for it to be removed.

No Rogers does not list every sent/received text on your bills. It does however give you a tally of all texts.

Jake...

BTW, I visited your site and I must say you are a talented photographer. Perhaps you should parlay your skills in photography into the skill of paying your bills on time. I too am a photographer, I just choose to do it on the side and I make my money in land development. Perhaps a little more stable and just as much fun.
