Samsung Bids for Dual-SIM Phones

Samsung D880 dual simNot only does Samsung think two-faced phones are pretty (we agree), it has also decided, dual-SIM handsets are the future. The Samsung DuoS D880 is a slider that will look familiar to Samsung fans. Its unique feature is hidden underneath. The D880 houses two SIMs, which can be inter-operated through the user interface. Not only that, and I find this feature more fascinating, the two SIMS can receive and make calls simultaneously.

The D880 is a triband GSM with EDGE, Bluetooth and FM radio. For the dual-SIM technology you are paying premium at $700 for an unlocked phone. It comes out in November.
