Nokia’s 6131 push-to-talk phone is going to be the NFC guinea pig in China when it gets redubbed 6131i. The phone will be available in Beijing, Xiamen and Guangzhou.
NFC (Near Field Communication) is short-range communication between cell phones. It works by magnetic induction and delivers up to 424 Kbits/second speeds. You can transfer money, photos and movies using NFC. It’s also been tasted for safety, so no brain damage, folks.
