Apparently, RIM’s BlackBerry Pearl 2 will have two versions with different specs. The form factor is similar. In fact, there’s not that much that was changed in the original BlackBerry.
Boy Genius Report is reporting the CDMA BlackBerry 2 as having GPS, while the GSM/EDGE version of the cell phone will have WiFi but no GPS. A Fall release for the BlackBerry 2 is most likely. The new BlackBerry Pearl will support streaming content, 2MP camera and, for the GSM version, seamless switching (UMA) from cellular to WiFi network.

Well if you lookup the BlackBerry 8830 you will see a lot more features on it than the 8130 has and is only lacking the camera but than again I’ve never really used my cell phones that I have owned that had a camera on except maybe once when taking a picture of a mother and baby moose while driving back from Banff National Park. so be sure to let your viewers know they have a better choice with the 8830 Black Berry phone. thanks hope this will help.
Well Angel…if you lookup Blackberry 8130 you will see that it’s the exact same thing as 8830 with the
excption of 2 things:
1) 8130 has a camera and yours (8830) doesn’t and…
2) 8130 you can talk on it more because it looks like a cell phone, yours is wider
To me, it sounds like you want the 8130 because it has a camera. If I were in your shoes, I’ll see what suites
your needs and then decide instead of yapping about 8830 on an 8100 user reviews.
Thanks,
Carlos
