HTC will come out with another Windows Mobile 6 touchscreen phone. Called Sedna, it’s going to be more powerful than both the iPhone-rival Touch and its slider sister Nike.
The HTC Sedna is a quadband GSM/EDGE/GPRS, triband WCDMA phone with 7.2Mbps HSDPA wireless broadband. Added to that is WiFi for even faster surfing near hotspots. Sedna is an extraordinary PDA phone to say the least. It operates on Qualcomm’s MSM7200, 400MHz chipset and has 256MB of ROM, and a choice between 64MB or 128MB of RAM. The 3.5-inch QVGA touchscreen will compete with iPhone’s screen size, and the A-GPS and 3 MP camera are the kind of extras features that’ll give you endless occasions for boasting. Also available as options is an extended battery and a credit card reader, something your office would definitely do well to take.
