The iPhone Crash Screen

iPhone black screenJust when everybody is getting used to the idea of a Jesus phone, some “character flaws” are beginning to appear and one of them could be very nearly fatal, not just for the gadget itself but the user. The security problem in the Safari poses a risk to the privacy of the iPhone user, and we all know how valuable privacy is. That someone can take over your iPhone and make calls with it is just too scary to contemplate. Fanboys will keep trooping into Apple and AT&T stores but what this means to the general public is that the stakes have just been significantly raised.

Oddly, it’s not this fear of a possible trojan controlling your iPhone that caused the most recent Apple and AT&T price drop but the report that AT&T conversion on iPhone’s successes is less than expected. Only 146k “in a few days.”

But, then, there’s nothing like a real picture of the iPhone black screen of death to dampen sales.

Golly . . . you just pick up a story and run with it don’t you . . . never mind that the photo is OBVIOUSLY a really bad photoshop hack job. Look at the change in the background color around the type. Look at the black overlap onto the chrome border on the right side, look at the . . . oh never mind it’s no use.

Too bad for you that that this isn’t a REAL picture. Sales of the phone are not slow either, it was just AT&T’s activation that was slow. “The company said it and AT&T had sold 270,000 iPhones in the first 30 hours the device went on sale.” No other phone has ever DONE that. Less than hyped maybe, but not slow!
