Yeah, I’ve seen this one. I’ve never used it because I could never find a table near enough to use it. It’s only available in select Burger King outlets in the Philippines. It’s a good way to attract customers in a country dominated by local fast food chain Jollibee and, of course, McDonald’s.
Chances are, this is only a novelty service that is ultimately bound for decommissioning. Why? Very savvy cell phone thieves.
My suggestion: they should have this behind the counter and give tickets to users like you would with party guests coats. The only problem is, Burger King would be liable in case of a loss.
And just check out the brand ratio. Yes, in the Philippines, and in Burger King Nokia is king. Unfortunately, I don’t spot a charger for the Nseries, which uses a smaller port hole.

Actually, that charging stand is more for people who need to make a call or send/check messages when their phone’s battery is dead rather than leaving it there to fully charge. Also some of the BK outlets that have the chargers also put an N-Series adapter to the end of the standard “big” Nokia charger to let you plug it into your N series and other phones that use the “small” plug version.
