The Apple iPhone page now shows us how YouTube will actually work on the iPhone. Basically this is a mobile version of YouTube and the iPhone will be its first testing hardware.
The YouTube Player will have an icon on the iPhone’s homepage. Once clicked, YouTube will load assuming you are connected to the Internet via WiFi. The YouTube page is very different from what you see on your PC. It’s the streamlined version that’s designed to lengthen battery life while surfing. Command buttons are located at the bottom of the screen. When you click on a YouTube video, it plays on landscape mode. YouTube is fully integrated in the iPhone and it looks so terribly easy, it’s a wonder why AAPL stocks didn’t actually go up at the same day of the announcement.
