The HTC TyTN is dubbed the “office-in-your-pocket,” which shouldn’t be confused with the N95’s “I have something in my pocket” ad. The TyTN is meant for business users with its full QWERTY slide out keyboard and Windows Mobile 5 operating system. The TyTN offers very fast connection, as in HSDPA (triband for worldwide wireless broadband connectivity), besides the quadband GSM and EDGE connectivity (Rogers fully supports all these connectivity options) and Wi-Fi. It has push email, business calendar with PC sync.
The TyTN is equipped with 128 MB of ROM and 64MB of RAM and form factor (112.5mm (L) x 58mm (W) x 21.95mm) that though not exactly thin is well-suited for a business traveler who wants to project a cooler image than usual.
It will be available in Canada exclusively with a Rogers contract. Price tag is $399.99 with three-year service.
