Vickie from Mobile in Canada wrote to us about a couple of new releases that Rogers is going to announce really soon. This summer watch out for Samsung’s BlackJack and Motorola’s Q9. BlackJack was launched by Cingular in the States November of last year and was touted as a BlackBerry rival. Besides the QWERTY and QVGA screen, it boasts a 1.3MP camera, bluetooth connection, and uses EDGE and pocket IE for browsing, but no Wi-Fi. The Q9 will be a SCPL phone and will have HSDPA.
The two PDAs are expected to be announced in the summer. Rival Telus is also expected to announce the HTC 720.
