Rumors about Apple possibly postponing the iPhone’s official release date is beginning to circulate the Web. Yesterday, Apple announced that it was shifting key personnel working on the Mac Leopard to the iPhone, which makes the new rumors today quite troubling. What if the problems with the battery, the troublesome user interface, etc. will not be solved before the official launch date? But, wait a minute. Has Apple actually confirmed that it will make the iPhone available on June 11, or at least any time during the h Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference, which ends June 15?
Well, that’ll help Apple save face. But what about the entire economic chain that is just waiting for the iPhone’s official announcement, especially Apple’s announcement with Cingular? Should Apple delay the iPhone indefinitely, up until they could come out with a good enough product to keep the iPhone in the market.
