Well, it does look like the poor sister of the Nseries multimedia device line, but it sure is a babe compared to this mock up.
The shape is N73-ish but this Nokia promises will be cheaper than the N92, the other DVB-H phone in the Nseries.
From the Nseries’ spanking new product site, the N77 will be more commonly use to view live broadcasts of great significance like a scheduled sporting event or breaking news. If DVB-H gets network support this year in the Philippines, the N77 will probably be my next Nokia device. The traffic here in Manila will not be improving soon and it’ll be a good handset to have handy while you’re crammed with other passengers in a shuttle van. Price is about 370 Euros or about $479 USD, which, disappointingly, costs more than the N73 or almost 30k in Philippine money.
The N77 is a triband GSM plus WCDMA and EDGE. It’s an MP3 player and has video playback as well. The QVGA screen supports 16 m colors. Two cameras on this Nokia, a VGA and a 2 MP camera and bluetooth connectivity also available.
