The Meizu M8 could’ve come straight out of Steve Jobs’ nightmare. It has an awesome 3.3-inch 720×480 pixel touch screen display with a 
UI that I expect could be marketed as poor man’s iPhone with great success.
The phone measures 57×105×11.5-mm and enjoys 3G connectivity, which goes to show how easy it would’ve been for Apple to get the iPhone some too, but why didn’t they?
The M8, besides being an obvious iPhone clone, is everything the iPhone should’ve been:
- 3 MP camera phone
- video recorder with an ARM11 CPU
- available this year
Note: Meizu already has an iPod copycat product out in the market with the M6 MP3 player, touted as the iPod killer.
Like Apple, Meizu has its own devoted fans, who have put up this fan site. Who knows, maybe they even have their own Chinese Steve Jobs.

No, it is not multi-touch because the feature is not necessary (To zoom and perform other operations you will probably be double-tapping).

Yes, there is a mod for this. You need to download the “warm.balls” file from my server. After you’ve uploaded the file leave the phone to charge for about eight hours then place the phone in your pocket with the battery facing inward.

If the phone has no WiFi and Bluetooth, it’s just another pc of garbage from China.
The device probably using Microsoft pirated WinCE or got license from Microsoft butolder version. Both co-conspire to halve iPhone sales.
The attractive part of the iphone are the scroll, enlarge and shrink viewing within a touch of a finger and fast start. This clone device probably like any other clone, dull response, using old and ancient PDA touch screen technology…Buyer ecareful, like palm PDA, once you forgot to recharge for a periodof time, all you datas will totally wipe-out and hard to regroup it even f you store in the T-card.

I got a M8 from my parents’ friend and have been using it for a while
I guess there’r at least 30 types “iphones” on the market but people only know Meizu because it’s not the same as other knock-offs which are ” dull response, using old and ancient PDA touch screen technology” it’s multi-touch, fast and has a better screen than iphone( actually the screen is only second to SHARP’s) …and you can get a lot of free applications instead of paying to apple store
I like to use it to play PS/NDS platform games …
but it’s not that cheap compared with itouch and the old iphone
