Found at a Hungarian site and supposedly being sold on Ebay, the red Nokia E65 is a business phone with WiFi and VoiP.
I made a comment on my previous E65 post about the diminutive appearance of this business phone. We all want our mobiles to be slimmer but my point was that it does not look serious enough. It looked the part as a direct successor to the Nokia E60, a rather staid device bereft of even the most basic of all entertainment features – a camera. The more compact appearance of the E65 thanks to the slide-out keypad and the added 2 MP camera and, I assume, the very fair pricing will make it a big hit for companies looking for a compact business phone for their workforce.
No word yet on the official price but it should be in the same area as the E60, which sold at $449 without contract. The red one you can get for cheap at Ebay. This is not the first time an Ebay-first phone will be officially announced sometime after its appearance on the auction site. The BlackBerry Pearl White went through the same “soft launch” at Ebay.
