Well, call me corporation illiterate but I’ve always thought Cingular was AT&T. I knew it was owned by BellSouth and wasn’t BellSouth an AT&T subsidiary?
Shortly after the FCC approved the BellSouth acquisition, AT&T divulged its intentions to strike the Cingular name from every wall, and early this 2007 we may be forced to do the painful task of erasing Cingular from our memory as well. I know I’ll miss the orange ink splatter.
