The CECT IP1000 is heavy on the Eastern and feminine motifs. From the soft-rectangular shape to the coal-black color, this phone says “Lady” like Chocolate says “Eat me.” It doesn’t take an expert to know that whatever committee decided on the style of the IP1000, it didn’t put too high a value on market trends.
For example, the onboard 4 megapixel camera is the odd man out between the popular 3.2 megapixel cake icing and the 5 megapixel tiara. The IP1000 is a PDA running on Windows Mobile, though there’s no mention of it.
This Chinese-manufactured phone has a 2.2-inch 260k color QVGA touch-screen. It comes with an electronic dictionary, notepad and possibly other functions that all PDAs come with. Battery life is above-average at 1000 hours at standby mode and 24 hours of MP3 playing.
