Flickr, the popular photo sharing site has released info on the most popular cameras used by Flickr clients. Nokia tops the list of camera phone manufacturers while ranking 9th overall. The list is still dominated by cameras that don’t talk back like Canon and Nikon, which took #1 and #2 spots respectively.
The most popular models are the Sony Ericsson K750i and the Nokia N70, both 2 megapixel cameras while the 3.2 megapixel cameras – the N73 and the Sony Ericsson K800i – are fast gaining ground. It is highly likely that camera phones will keep improving in photo quality and out pace the mono-fucntional cameras.
