Fido has began offering the Samsung SGH-c417 as starter phone for Candians. Chances are, if you choose this Samsung from Fido, it’ll be the best cell phone experience you’ll ever have. I used to own a cheap Motorola clamshell and I still relish how comfortable it felt in my pocket. My feeling was that I was carrying something that was worth a lot more to me than it’s equivalent in cash.
Anyway, you can’t loose buying this handset for yourself this Christmas, especially after you’ve spent most of your money on other people. The SGH-c417 is a quad-band, which means you can use it around the world. The phone has Bluetooth, WAP, GPRS, a VGA camera, MP3 ringtones, instant messaging, USB connection, speaker phone – more goodies than one could ask for on a basic handset selling at just $25 on a 3-year plan.
Other features include a three-language configuration and a 500-entry phonebook capacity.
